The Emmet-McNaughton house at 1151 Lowell Road is currently owned by Sheppard and Corine Salon.  Dr. Salon, a pioneer in electromagnetics, is an author, RPI professor, scientist and CEO of Magsoft Corporation.  Corine is a member of Opera Excelsior and a vocal instructor who has performed in various US venues as well as Europe and Asia.  The house, built in 1914, has elements of medieval English Tudor, Bugalow, and English Country styles.  A large sunroom opening off the kitchen has been added to the back of the house.

Debbie and Dr. Robert DeLuke are longtime community advocates, having been actively involved in Schenectady 2000 and numerous other charities and philanthropic endeavors. The DeLuke residence is located at 1491 Wendell Avenue and directly adjoins the prominent DeLuke dental practice on Nott Street. Built in 1954, the home is a classic example of the contemporary architectural style that became prevalent in the 1950's and 1960's. A vintage Carl Company store maneqin welcomes you to the home's interior, which is a quintessential example of "populuxe", a design style that became popular in years following World War II. A vintage Carl Company manequin welcomes you to The style defined modern at the time and now is retro chic.

1188 Lowell Road, known as the John Parker house, is the residence of Bill McColl.  A long time SLOC member and performer, Bill is also involved with the Octavos, Civic Players, and Glimmerglass Opera.  The house was constructed in 1909 and sports a gambrel roof with a large, central gable.   The first floor retreats on the right, creating a sheltered porch with the second floor cantilevered above it.  To balance this, the parlor projects to the left in a large bay.  You will find grand piano the living room.
